The project

Taiyuan One is a masterplan in Taiyuan, China developed by Archidom Studio, the architecture and urban design studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers masterplan and urban planning.

South Central is one of the flagship proposals for Taiyuan’s CBD: a complex of five buildings conceived to become the city’s financial engine.

The project draws on the waves formed by the Zouhi River, a symbol of dynamism, fluidity and harmony with nature, expressed in architectural forms that suggest movement and modernity to create a new landmark on the skyline.

Although it hosts mixed uses, its main role is financial, offering first-class space for offices and global business. A symbol of prestige and identity that places Taiyuan on the international stage. An Archidom Studio project.

Urban approach and landscape

The project data record private development. In its masterplans, the studio arranges buildings, public space and landscape as a single system, taking the natural setting as the starting point.

In China, the studio has also designed HHC Masterplan and Masterplan Eco Tech Industrial Park. Browse all the studio’s projects.
