Masterplan Zhengzhou is a masterplan in Zhengzhou, China developed by Archidom Studio, the architecture and urban design studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers masterplan and urban planning.
Inspired by the natural richness and topography of Zhengzhou, the masterplan is conceived as a dialogue between “the mountain” and “the valley”.
In the mountain zone, the residential blocks trace the winding curves of the nearby ranges, forming a central axis where community life and public space take the lead.
By contrast, the valley hosts an exclusive collection of luxury villas arranged in terraces on different levels to maximise the views. A precise balance between urban dynamism and exclusive privacy. An Archidom Studio project.
The project data record private development. In its masterplans, the studio arranges buildings, public space and landscape as a single system, taking the natural setting as the starting point.
In China, the studio has also designed HHC Masterplan and Masterplan Eco Tech Industrial Park. Browse all the studio’s projects.
