Villa Caleton is a luxury villa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic designed by Archidom Studio, the architecture studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers architecture, interior design and site supervision.
The design of Villa Caletón began with the need for a blind façade to ensure privacy, resolved with an ingenious system that conceals the windows within the walls like a shutter.
In contrast with that initial condition, the proposal allows the windows of each room to be hidden when desired, guaranteeing privacy without compromising the aesthetics.
Stone, the leading material alongside wood, defines every façade, cladding and element of the project. An Archidom Studio project in Punta Cana.
The project data record private development. As in all of the studio’s residential work, architecture and interiors are considered together from the first sketch: placement on the plot, views, privacy, light and materials are resolved as a single project.
