Playa Padre is a beach club in Marbella, Málaga designed by Archidom Studio, the architecture and interior design studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers architecture, commercial design and interior design.
The rebuilt Playa Padre keeps its essence while introducing new signature elements inspired by our travels to Tulum, Mexico.
Built entirely with dry, ephemeral materials to minimise environmental impact: reed for the roof to match the parasols, timber boards and natural stone for counters and bars. Its boho-chic décor has made it one of the references of the moment.
The landscaping creates an oasis within the urban beach, with cacti, palms and flowers that evoke the Mexican Caribbean. At sunset, lighting and sound turn the restaurant into a party venue. An Archidom Studio project in Marbella.
The project data record a site of 1,500 m², a built area of 185 m² and private development. In hospitality and commercial projects, the studio works on the identity of the place and its daily operation at the same time: circulation, service areas, lighting and materials are part of the same design decision.
In Marbella, the studio has also designed Beach Club Los Tonys and Dunique Club House. Browse all the studio’s projects.
