Silva Hotel Retreat is a luxury villa in Green Coast, Albania designed by Archidom Studio, the architecture studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers architecture, interior design and site supervision.
Floating horizons. Set on an exceptional site overlooking the Mediterranean, this villa crowns a slope embraced by vegetation to the north.
Its architecture unfolds through independent volumes that compress and expand the views, creating a sequence of singular scenes. The vertical planes are framed by horizontal projections that reach towards the sea, forming porches that extend the terrace. Ingeniously, the projections do not rest on the walls but fit between them.
The north entrance, closed and opaque, is protected by motorised timber louvres; the south façade opens fully to the horizon through large glass panels sheltered beneath the projections. Elegance, precision and connection with the setting. An Archidom Studio project.
The project data record private development. As in all of the studio’s residential work, architecture and interiors are considered together from the first sketch: placement on the plot, views, privacy, light and materials are resolved as a single project.
