Laguna Village is a shopping centre in Estepona, Málaga designed by Archidom Studio, the architecture and interior design studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers commercial design and interior design.
The design of Laguna makes the most of its privileged setting between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Bermeja.
From sea breezes to Andalusian light and the rolling terrain, every natural element was studied and woven into the proposal, producing architecture that is both beautiful and functional. Moving away from the previous Balinese-Asian-Pacific style, we adopted a contemporary Mediterranean language in tune with its context.
Inspired by Mediterranean culture and the natural beauty of Estepona, Laguna sets out to heighten the essence of its surroundings. The undulating roofs, which echo the movement of the landscape, are not only an aesthetic gesture but a functional one: they provide shade, comfort and a shifting play of light and shadow.
By combining innovation and tradition, the project establishes a strong dialogue with nature and sets a new benchmark for beach clubs in the region. An architecture and interior design project by Archidom Studio in Estepona, on the Costa del Sol.
The project data record a plot of 10,730 m² and development by Playa Padrón Estepona S.L. (Grupo GAT). In hospitality and commercial projects, the studio works on the identity of the place and its daily operation at the same time: circulation, service areas, lighting and materials are part of the same design decision.
In Estepona, the studio has also designed Nido and The Pool House. Browse all the studio’s projects.
