UM is a beach club in Portals, Mallorca designed by Archidom Studio, the architecture and interior design studio based in Marbella and Madrid. The studio’s scope covers architecture, commercial design and interior design.
The project is located on the south coast of Mallorca, in Portals, organised around a main indoor module and several distinct outdoor areas.
The main indoor module houses lounges, multifunctional spaces for all kinds of events, services and kitchens.
Outside, four areas are defined: the main terrace with pool and bar, the open-air dining module, the terrace area and the beach below. An Archidom Studio project in Mallorca.
The project data record a plot of 2,475 m² and a built area of 500 m². In hospitality and commercial projects, the studio works on the identity of the place and its daily operation at the same time: circulation, service areas, lighting and materials are part of the same design decision.
