Villa ACEis a residence located in the exclusive Montemayor development, within the municipality of Benahavís. It is set in a natural environment of high landscape value, characterized by its steep topography and its wide, open views toward the Mediterranean coastline.

The plot on which the house is situated has an average slope exceeding 35%, which represents a challenge both in terms of construction and architectural composition. Additionally, the site borders roadways on its East and West sides, conditioning the access points and influencing the volumetric articulation of the project. These circumstances have guided a thorough reflection on how to integrate the architecture into the terrain without compromising the strong formal character sought.The main concept of the project stems from the intention to develop an architecture with a distinctly brutalistcharacter, where raw materials, natural textures, and an honest aesthetic—one in which structure, form, and material are expressed with clarity—predominate.

Exposed concrete, local stone, and large glass planes combine to create a robust, contemporary atmosphere that remains deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.The various volumes that make up the residence are conceived as elevated above the steep slope, resting strategically on the terrain to minimize earthworks and generate a sense of lightness. This arrangement makes the architectural elements appear to hover over the landscape, adding dynamism to the composition and offering the user the experience of “floating” above the surroundings.

The orientation and staggered configuration of the volumes have been carefully studied to enhance the views toward the sea, capture natural light, and reinforce the visual connection between interior and exterior.
